High Performance Penetrating Sealer
Hybrid Carrier Technology™
Through the discovery of a revolutionary water/solvent blending process, this product offers the convenience and safety of a water-based formula combined with the ease of use and performance of a solvent-based formula. Hybrid Carrier Technology™ is an evolutionary leap in sealer development and brings you the best of both worlds.
Penetrates and protects grout, natural stone and other porous masonry materials; an excellent choice for sealing grout in porcelain and glass tile pool installations. Forms an invisible, no-sheen barrier that is resistant to water and oil and provides superior stain protection.* Low residue formula is specially designed to be easier and faster to apply than traditional penetrating sealers. May be applied to dry, damp, cured or uncured grout or natural stone (seriously... immediately after grouting!).
*Based on CTI-T72 stain testing.
- Low Residue – Low odor – Low VOC
- Protects grout, stone and porous masonry materials
- Seal the same day you grout
- Maintains natural look with no sheen

High Performance Penetrating Sealer
Hybrid Carrier Technology™
Application
Always test product in an inconspicuous area to determine suitability
for intended use. May slightly darken some surfaces. Suitability for a
particular purpose is always the responsibility of the user.
Protect and mask surrounding area.
- Make sure the surface to be sealed is thoroughly clean and free from wax,
sealants or coatings of any kind.
- Evenly apply sealer with a low-pressure, solvent resistant sprayer or natural fiber brush.
- Allow sealer to penetrate for 1-3 minutes. Do not allow unabsorbed sealer to dry on the surface.
- Buff unabsorbed sealer from the surface with a clean, dry cloth. If dried sealer residue is present on the surface, apply additional sealer, agitate and buff dry.
- Apply second coat as soon as a surface is dry to the touch. Depending on surface porosity, additional coats may be necessary to achieve desired result; multiple light coats will perform better than one heavy coat.
- Cure for a minimum of 24 hours before water exposure.

Calcium Releaser
A non-toxic, acid-free cleaner that effectively removes calcium deposits and efflorescence from pool tile. Calcium deposits are removed in layers through the use of advanced acid-mimic technology, which specifically targets mineral build-up without damage to the tile surface or metal finishes. When applied prior to media-blasting, Calcium Releaser softens and loosens deposits, which allows for the use of less aggressive media, reduced blasting time and reduced media consumption. Designed for use with porcelain, ceramic, glass and iridescent glass tile.
- Environmentally friendly ~ Acid free ~ Non-toxic
- Removes heavy calcium deposits and efflorescence
- Designed for porcelain, ceramic, glass and iridescent glass tile
- Does not affect pool pH
Available in:
1 gallon (Item # OCG-50-1005)
1 quart (Item # OCG-50-1004)
8 oz. (Item # OCG-50-2496)
Coverage:
1 gallon = ~300 sq. ft.
1 quart = ~75 sq. ft.
Calcium Releaser Application
This product may etch some materials that contain minerals (concrete or natural stone). Dark colored grouts (particularly grey) may retain a white residue after cleaning with this product. If desired, the residue may be removed by cleaning with a mild acid cleaner (sulfamic acid). Always test product in an inconspicuous area to determine suitability for intended use. Protect and mask surrounding finishes.
- If necessary, lower water level to expose calcium deposits and remove surface oil/film by cleaning with Oceancare All Natural Degreaser.
- Allow calcium deposits to completely dry. Calcium Releaser is most effective when applied to dry deposits.
- Apply Calcium Releaser liberally and allow it to sit several minutes; the product will react with the calcium and bubble. If using as a media-blasting pretreatment, allow product to sit a minimum of 10 minutes before blasting.
- Scrub with a mildly abrasive nylon scrub-pad (3M WHITE OR BLUE PAD).
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until deposits are completely removed.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Note: To increase effectiveness, heat Calcium Releaser to 10 degrees F warmer than ambient air temperature.
